About Why Stir Fry Is The Greatest
There are a lot of really versatile foods out there that are totally customizable. Among them are sandwiches, salads, wraps, burgers, and stir fry!
I absolutely love stir fry.
You can put whatever you want in it, and I mean anything!
Meats - chicken, pork, steak, shrimp, ground turkey, tofu even
Veggies - broccoli, bell pepper, onion, scallions, carrots, mushrooms, cauliflower, zuccini, green beens, and so much more
Base - white rice, brown rice, noodles, lettuce, or just use your meat as the base
Sauce - soy, teriyaki, olive oil, or something homemade
If you’re anything like me, the best part is that you can throw a ton of week-old veggies in the wok and turn it into an A+ stir fry.
It can be a very balanced and nutrient-dense meal depending on what you put in it; meats, veggies, and rice!
Additionally, stir fry is a great way to work some extra meat into your diet if you have trouble eating enough of it. I, personally, very much dislike the taste of homemade chicken... unless it's in stir fry! And since stir fry is so quick and easy, and it usually produces left overs for another meal, it has a convenience factor that's hard to beat.
